CEO / Founder / Owner

Kara Altice-Montes

Kara Altice-Montes, is a 30-year Hotel Executive with strong leadership & operational expertise.  Kara's career has included working as a Vice President of Operations and Area General Manager for Four & Five Diamond/Star Hotels with leading hospitality brands: Hyatt Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Viceroy Hotels & Resorts.   Kara began purchasing, promoting, and operating her own vacation rental homes in 2011. She quickly merged her expertise and passion for hotel operations, travel, quality, and relationship cultivation with vacation home ownership, and created the concept for Altez Vacations LLC. in 2011.  Kara and the Altez Vacations Team have created a new level of service & competency for the vacation home industry.  By removing risk, and providing a level of quality and care for guests and vacation owners, Altez Vacations promotes confidence in our products & services, and creates memorable experiences for all.   Kara hold a Bachelors of Science in Business from University of Phoenix 2002, and a certification in Hotel Real Estate and Asset Management from Cornell University, 2013.  She is also a consultant in the field of  Leadership & Hotel Operations/Management.

Sean Altice

Prior to joining Altez Vacations in Sarasota FL, Sean lived in the Southern California, Los Angeles area where he attended school and worked in the hospitality industry.  Sean enjoyed interacting with guests and associates while working in the operations division with Starwood hotels.  This experience influenced his decision to become actively involved in the travel industry though an entrepreneurial approach which evolved into Altez Vacations LLC. in 2015.  Sean's entrepreneurial  ventures also include developing a music concert series to showcase the talents of local artists in Pasadena and Los Angeles, Ca.  Sean has worked as an independent consultant in the performing arts sector in the areas of lighting, design, and event management in and around the Los Angeles area.  His other interests include music, politics, sports, and community involvement with organizations serving to protect the environment and create sustainable living practices.   

 

 

Executive Director of Marketing & Development

Denise Campbell

Denise is grateful to be a part of the Altez Vacations family. Before relocating to Sarasota, Campbell served at the University of Southern California and the private education sector for almost two decades leading a variety of student centered divisions. Campbell received her advanced degrees from the USC Rossier School of Education and continues to serve as a seasonal producer at Atwater Playhouse and Method Acting School in Los Angeles which she co-founded over a decade ago. She is also a board member of Friends In Deed Pasadena and the WTCIII Survivors Organization. Denise enjoys supporting arts organizations and serving as a Life & Business Coach in her spare time.

Luis Montes, MD

Luis Montes, MD., is an owner, Chief Financial investor, and Business Advisor for Altez Vacations.   Luis is also a 30 year veteran in the field of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine and is dedicated to improving the health of people and communities through social change.  Dr. Montes is the CEO & Founder of Altez Health with a focus on providing quality of life improvements to the children, youth, and families for whom he represents. Luis has been a prior Board chair and active Board member for several non-profit organziations, always advocating for those who are under-served and under-represented.  He has received multiple distinquished awards & recognitions throughout his career.  In addition to his professional discipline, Luis has greatly enjoyed the benefits of vacation home ownership since 2002.  He finds significant value in sharing his vacation homes with others from around the world.  

Financial Advisor/Strategist, CPA

Bridgid Billingsley-Jones

Bridgid Billingsley-Jones has been in the industry for the past 15 years focusing on real estate companies with a specialization in hospitality. Her career has spanded several high profile firms including Deloitte and Touché, Viceroy Hotel Group and the Standard Hotel Group. Bridgid recently furthered her hospitality experience by joining Windsor Capital Group as Corporate Controller where she oversees the operations of ten hotels of varying brands such as Hilton and Marriott.

Financial Advisor/Strategist

Ben Montes

Ben has worked in the financial tech space for the past 5 years, working closely with some of the most prominent companies in the world. As a leader in client advisory, he helps Fortune 500 companies leverage technology to better assess the risk and performance of their investments, along with helping to prepare public financial statements. Ben holds a bachelor's in finance from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
