Altez Vacations specializes in the operation and promotion of short-term vacation rentals through-out Florida and California. Altez Vacations currently manages around 35 properties and is growing quickly. We are current need of a qualified bookkeeper to assist with the daily recording of income expenses across our properties and the Altez Vacations Operations.

Bookkeeper would directly with our CEO and Senior Accountant to assist with all financial matters as the pertain to the company.


  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist with other accounting projects


  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper
  • Knowledge and frequent use in QuickBooks Online
  • Knowledge and experience with hotel or property management bookkeeping
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Must be a good to player


  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. QuickBooks Online)
  • BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
