Recently refurnished in 2024, the home has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its original Siesta Key charm, including stunning hardwood floors and large windows that offer breathtaking views of the peaceful bayou and pool.

The property boasts expansive outdoor spaces perfect for families and pets, with over 200 linear feet of waterfront. Children will delight in the ample play areas, and can enjoy watching dolphins and manatees frolic just off the dock. The large oak trees provide a natural canopy, offering shade and a cool retreat during the hot summer days. The private non-heated pool, beautifully framed by a majestic oak tree, is an enchanting oasis for reading, sunbathing and fun.

Inside, The Flamingo offers a perfect blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. The home is fully furnished with historically appointed pieces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious game room, located just off the pool deck, is a hub of entertainment with a pool table, game table, large TV, and a selection of board games. The living room, complete with a large sectional couch, fireplace, and television, offers a cozy spot for relaxation. The fully stocked kitchen is a cook's delight, and the formal dining table comfortably seats six.

The screened-in veranda, overlooking the pool and intercoastal waterway, is a highlight of the property. With outdoor seating, dining space, rocking chairs, and a swing, the veranda is the perfect place to unwind. At night, string lights transform the space into a romantic retreat.

The Flamingo features four bedrooms and three bathrooms across two stories. For guests with mobility needs, the downstairs primary bedroom is handicap accessible, and a temporary ramp can be installed for wheelchair access.

The property’s location on the north end of Siesta Key provides easy access to and from the island, allowing guests to avoid the worst of the island traffic during peak season periods. Shell Beach, a serene and lesser-known spot, is just a little over half a mile away, while the bustling Siesta Key Public Beach is 3.5 miles from the home. Siesta Key Village, with its array of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, is only 2.5 miles away. To fully enjoy the local area, it's recommended that guests rent bikes or a golf cart for easy access to the beach and village.

The Flamingo is dog friendly. Guests will be charged $35/night/pet. Guests may be held responsible for any damages or additional cleaning required for your pet(s).
