The Mountaineer’s Lodge in Pine-Cove, CA is a large 3,000 sqft property situated on the side of the mountain located 5 minutes from Idyllwild. The lodge is a total of 3 three stories which includes a living-room, bar, den, fully stocked kitchen, formal dining room, game room with pool table, and a garage converted into a kids play space with arcade games and toys. The property features 4 bedrooms on the third floor with 1 king bed in the primary bedroom, 2 queens in separate guest bedrooms, a double and twin in the kids’ room, and an additional 2 twin beds in the hallway in between the Primary Guest Bedroom and the Primary Bedroom. The primary bedroom features his and her bathrooms with separate shower, jacuzzi tub and vanity spaces.
The Mountaineer’s cabin features a large wrap around deck to allow for plenty of outdoor space which includes a spa and outdoor dining space for 8. We kindly ask out guests to please remain quiet at all times while on the exterior of the property. We have close neighbors on all sides of the property and loud noise will not be tolerated.
The Mountaineer’s cabin is the perfect location for medium to large size families. This has everything for everyone, from the kids to the adults to keep everyone happy and entertained all day!

The Mountaineer's Lodge is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood sound is easily carried. . We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 10PM – 8:00AM. Parties or loud activity past 10PM will not be tolerated and will be subject to $250 noise violation plus additional fines issues by Riverside County.
**Due to the mountainous terrain of the cabin, SoCal Edison frequently has Maintenance Power Outages during periods of expected high wind or other periods of high fire risk weather. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause**
What Altez Vacations Provides
The management and care for the property listed are provided by the property owner. The Guest will be provided with the property owners personal contact information prior to guest arrival, in the event, the Guest needs assistance during their stay.
Altez Vacations is an acting third party listing service, who has received the explicit permission from the Property Owner to publicly list and sign into transient rental agreements on behalf of the Property Owner.
