Find yourself nestled amongst the pine trees in our modern rustic artist retreat in one of Southern California’s best kept secrets. We are proud to welcome you to The Wile, our beautiful two-bedroom cabin has been recently lovingly fully restored by the homeowner to provide you with this charming mountain getaway.

Encapsulated in cedar paneling, relax and enjoy the company of loved ones in the cozy open concept living space of The Wile. Nuzzle up on a brisk mountain night on our new modern furnishings as the wood burning fireplace crackles away. The fully stocked kitchen will provide you with all your cooking needs. The Wile offers two beautiful principle bedrooms with attached en-suite bathrooms. The additional kids room features twin bunk beds.

The Wile features great outdoor spaces to enjoy the mountain air. Step out the front patio to enjoy that perfect morning coffee. Walk around to the expansive private backyard that is perfect for enjoying your family evenings around the outdoor firepit.

The Location

The Wile is located just three miles from downtown Idyllwild-Pine Cove, 2 miles to the Idyllwild Nature Center, and a scenic nine miles to the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. The downtown area provides great eateries and entertainment including local shops, wineries, and the newly renovated Rustic Theater. There is an abundance of gorgeous hiking trails perfect for either a quick stroll and a picnic, or more strenuous hikes to epic vistas overlooking the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains. For day trippers looking to explore local Southern California the property is located only about an hour from Palm Springs and about two hours from the world-renowned Joshua Tree State Park.

Pet Policy

The Wile is pet friendly for dogs up to 50lbs. There is a $35/dog/night and the dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests must sign the dog waiver included in our rental agreement. Guests must notify Altez Vacations prior to their arrival if they are bringing a dog.

The Neighborhood

The Wile is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood sound is easily carried. . We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 10PM – 8:00AM. Parties or loud activity past 10PM will not be tolerated and will be subject to $250 noise violation plus additional fines issues by Riverside County.

What Altez Vacations Provides

The management and care for the property listed are provided by the property owner. The Guest will be provided with the property owners personal contact information prior to guest arrival, in the event, the Guest needs assistance during their stay.

Altez Vacations is an acting third party listing service, who has received the explicit permission from the Property Owner to publicly list and sign into transient rental agreements on behalf of the Property Owner.

**Minimum Age 25: All Reservations must be booked by and accompanied by an adult who is 25 years of age or older. Valid photo I.D. may be required at time of booking.

Great property! There were nearby hiking trails, which was nice. Kitchen stocked with all the utensils and pots you'll need to cook. Happy with the stay!

This is a very well appointed rental and it was exceptionally clean. The hot tub was hot and the climate control was very good. Small fireplace in the living really helps with relaxing evenings. We've stayed in a lot of cabins in the Idyllwild area and this is a new favorite. + more

Our dog loved exploring the area and taking in all the new scents. Evenings were simple and quiet, with cool air and clear skies. This was a wonderful cabin for our getaway! It comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Loved that there was so much space outside for the kids to run around and play. It was super peaceful. My two girlfriends and our pups had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Located a quick drive to town, we had no problem accessing restaurants and hikes. The huge yard with its hot tub was a huge bonus, especially for the pups.

This place is stocked with absolutely everything needed to make meals (except the food of course - lol) The wood burning stove/fireplace was the highlight as we spent a very snowy and cold weekend in the pines but we were toasty warm the whole time. The beds are comfortable with extra blankets and pillows if desired. It is obvious that Tawny (the owner) pays attention to the details and cares about her guests!

Love the location of this property. The fenced in yard gives privacy when needed. The vibe of the house was aesthetically pleasing and just as comfortable. No trouble sleeping whatsoever! We ate breakfast out there and enjoyed the jacuzzi at night. Really a very inviting home. There were a couple of things that you might need to tell the cleaners; wet sheets in the washing machine and all the beach towels were in the dryer still. We finished it all and folded. Also, we let the owner know the door wasn't shut all the way or locked when we arrived. We are already planning a trip back
